What does a pilot do next? Make whiskey.
I've spent my career in the air, flying C-130s and C-5s in combat as a military aviator, and Airbus jets as an airline pilot. I've seen a fair slice of this world, and I've tasted what it pours.
So what does a world traveler, pilot and combat veteran do next? She goes home to East Tennessee and makes her own line of unaged whiskey, from her own family's recipe.
Shine Girl is my answer to a shelf full of spirits that never once had women in mind. My goal is a line of spirits created by women, with women in mind: smart, playful and genuinely delicious. And I have a theory I'm betting the whole thing on: if women will drink it, men will buy it.
